Once again, it’s another fabulous CASE Study Challenge! It’s a gorgeous inspiration piece by Wida Miller and I love it’s color scheme and lovely layout.
I was going for a closer CASE this time around but then the designing process took a turn and wanted to move away from the original layout and add in extra layers. This change in direction was inspired by a pretty piece of packaging I was about to through out the other night while I was cleaning out some of my crafting drawers. I went to toss the beautiful button card that was the base of four lovely Jenni Bowlin button stickers. The colors matched the inspiration piece beautifully and the idea was born to use it in the design.
I’ve been soooo enjoying the past few weeks of challenges inspired by our June muse, Wida Miller. I know you’ll be inspired to play along so please join us here for our latest Case Study challenge!
Elements that inspired my design…
- light neutral background – mine is cream as it went with my papers better
- layout – the base layout is similar but I’ve changed it up by adding in the embellished button card
- gold accents – mine are sequins and gold letter stickers
- color scheme- love the soft look of the pink, aqua and gold
Quick Tip: Don’t forget that packaging can be used in craft projects!
There’s a lot of fabulous inspiring designs created for this challenge by the rest of the design team. Check them out…
Have a creative day!
