Wohoo! It’s time for another MFT Stamps release countdown and this month it’s extra exciting as we celebrate MFT’s 9th birthday as well! Now that’s something to celebrate and you’ll find that there’s a ton of new product on the way that’s perfect for helping you celebrate as well! Let’s party!
Today I’m sharing a design created with one of the new July releases, Die-namics Blueprints 26. If you’ve never created with the Blueprints dies series I have to tell you they are amazing and VERY addictive! I’m slowly working on building my collection and I really want to use them on almost every card I make. This Blueprints 26 set is a fun one as it is party themed. There’s great words, lots of balloons, a bow, a banner and a lovely stitched curved card front panel. Love!
The front of the card has lots of layered cardstock balloons. They were first layered together on a layer of Sno Cone Cardstock and then die cut all together with the large rounded corner panel die. This gives it a totally cohesive look! To accent the balloon knots, I made my own little twirls of cardstock. To do this simply cut very thin strips of cardstock. Wrap them tightly around a paper piercer or heavy needle in a spiral. Gently slide your twirl off the tool and adhere to your project.
I thought it would be fun to split the sentiment on this card. The happy is on the front in red cardstock…
…and inside I layered on the birthday sentiment along with some fun washi tape to finish it off.
Make sure you stop by the MFT blog for all the latest release countdown information and inspiration! And stop back each day for new exciting sneak peeks at the new release.
