These days I just can’t seem to get enough of making shaker cards. It’s actually rather amusing to me as I went for years without making one and now I keep looking for fun ones to create. I guess life is like that sometimes.
Today I’m back with another MFT September Release countdown post which means I get to share a peek at more goodies with you! My shaker card has four new products in it and some wonderful classics as well. Don’t you love it when new things work perfectly with things you already own? The entire MFT Stamps lineup is like that!
So how I started off my shaker card was with the new Die-namics Stitched Fishtale Frames. This is a cool frame set. The other frames to date have been basic shapes such as ovals, circles, squares and rectangles. I’m really excited to see this one join the line up. Banners are always such fun shapes that always bring to mind a celebration. I’ve lined my Fishtale Frame (and used the largest one of the three) with clear plastic so I could add the shaker components.
The fun thing about the inside of the shaker is not only is it filled with sequins, it’s also filled up with the sentiment. This makes up two of the new sets in this design, the Label Maker Sentiments and the Die-namics Label Tape dies. Aren’t they sweet? I’ve long been a huge fan of dymo label maker style sentiments and this is a great mix of sentiments. I’ll never have to run out of label tape again!
Also inside the shaker are all those sweet little paper stars. They are from a fun strip of stars called, Die-namics Star Strips. Imagine that. You can see what the star strips look like die cut from white cardstock on the little banner style accent at the top of the card. The little stars are an added bonus and inside the card they’ve been die cut from Red Hot and Tropical Teal cardstock and one of the stripe patterns from the Dots and Stripes Sorbet pack.
