I love living a creative life. There’s something so wonderful about using your hands to create things. Creativity can be found pretty much in every aspect of life. Whether you create when you cook, when you write, when you sit on a cozy chair in the evening and knit…it’s all creative. I find so much joy in creativity. It’s allowing yourself to dream a little. To imagine. To say what if…and try it out.
Some of my very first crafting loves have been needlework and knitting. My mom and aunts and both my grandmothers always kept themselves busy by stitching or sewing or knitting. I loved seeing their beautiful projects turn from humble thread or yarn into fascinating creations. I had to try it myself.
These days I mostly focus on paper crafting but I do love to relax and change it up with different crafts. There’s always a basket of knitting and while I don’t often sew on fabric, I do sew on paper. Do you have other crafts that you love? I’m pretty sure that you might!
Today on the Taylored Expressions blog I’m sharing this project with lots of tips and details. This is one project you REALLY want to pop by and check out. There’s a GIVEAWAY from Taylored Expressions! Hurry, hurry though! It ends tonight, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:59 pm PST.
