2015 has been quite the year. A year of change. A year of blessings. And for many, a year of fear and loss. It seems there is bad news every time one looks at the news.
While I’ve been blessed to have been cocooned in my safe little world, I’m reminded that there are hurting people everywhere. And I can help, even if it is just by offering a smile and a kind word, or a helping hand. I want my life to be one that is defined by love. Not hate. Not fear. Not greed or self-love. While my sphere of impact is small, I can make a difference in one life or two. I can make the world a better place right where I am. It may not be much but it’s worth doing.
As 2015 is history and 2016 dawns, I’d like to encourage you to think about it. If we all had a little more kindness, a little more love. We might not do great things or world peace, but we CAN make the world a little better place. And yes, I’m very much preaching it to myself.
I’m sharing this card design on the Taylored Expression’s blog. I hope you stop by and join me for all the details on this project. This is my last post as part of the Taylored Expressions Blog Team. One thing about creating is that you need to continually evaluate your time commitments and lately I’ve become much too busy. I’d like to thank Taylor for the wonderful opportunity of the past year. I enjoyed the team and the Taylored Expressions product SO much! It’s so hard to say farewell. I’m crossing my fingers I’ll be able to see Taylor at CHA this weekend!
Wishing you all joy and peace for 2016!
