It’s no secret that wood has been a huge trend in paper crafting for quite awhile now. I love it whether it’s a woodgrain print or some fabulous wood embellishments. I recently created this fun scrapping-style card with some pretty embellishments I had on hand and my trusty sewing machine. It really adds texture and motion to the design by simply stitching on the patterned paper lines!
Don’t feel as if every card you create this year has to be a huge ordeal. Just get creating and have some fun. It can be as complex or simple as you like. Let’s make 2016 a crafty year!
- stitch patterned paper to add emphasis to the design
- stitching adds great texture without adding bulk
- use a polaroid type frame to hold a cluster of embellishments
- adhere elements with hot glue for quick adhesion and a firm grip of bulky embellishments
Keep it Crafty!
