I love flowers. I just can’t get enough of them! Recently I was blessed to have a little road trip up the California coast with my hubby. It was so great to get away and the scenery was amazing. But what always caught my attention was all the beautiful flowers. They are so very unique from what I can plant here in Canada that I enjoyed each and every bloom. In fact, my poor hubby’s patience was tried as I kept stopping to get as many pictures as possible.
MFT Stamps has the most amazing floral stamp and die sets. I’m almost giddy with delight with every new release. I just can’t wait to create another paper bouquet. This card features the brand new Large Desert Bouquet Stamp Set and Die-namics Set. It’s so pretty! If you remember, the Desert Bouquet Stamp set was released not too long ago and this is a stunning large size version of it! If you have one, you could mix and match them together for endless possibilities.
I’ve been creating with a lot of pinks recently so I thought I’d switch things up a little and go with a cool combo of blues and greens and just a pop of orange to make it sing. All the inks used are listed below in the supply links. For each of the flowers I’ve stamped them onto the Die-namics die cuts and then layered with dimension foam tape on the main panel.
I had a little fun with this panel. If you look closely at the layers you’ll see that I used the new Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX. This gives me a perfect stitching line on both sides of the cut. To create my layer, I first stamped the large layer with the leaves. This allows them to go right off the inner panel and onto the outer one seamlessly! Once I had this panel, I then die cut out the center rectangle and set it aside. A fun touch is the stenciling I added to just the OUTER layer using the Stencil Grid and some Sno Cone Dye Ink. The sentiment is from the new Whimsical Greetings Stamp Set. It’s a great mix of standard and unique sentiments and little details that I just love. I’m making a note to myself to find some time to go back and play around with this set!
And there you are! That’s the last of my sneak peeks but there are still some to see on the MFT Stamps Blog! Don’t miss out on the fab inspiration! It’s almost time for the full release too! Make a note to join us Tuesday February 2nd at 10 pm EST! It’s going to be awesome!
