It’s the first of March! You know what they say about March, in like a lion and out like a lamb. Or vice versa.
I’m not sure what your weather is like but March is kicking off with a bang by way of a fab new release from MFT Stamps! It’s sure to kindle your creativity! As of right now..the new March releases are all live and available for sale. Do you have a list all planned out? There’s so many beauties to choose from.
For today’s release post, I’m featuring the brand new Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set and Beautiful Blooms Die-namics. It’s an absolutely gorgeous build-able bouquet set. I’ve paired it up with lovely soft pastels for a sweet and feminine look. The base of this card is a Smooth White card stock layer die cut from the Blueprints 20 Die-namics set. It also has the great double notched sentiment banner in this set that I’ve used for the main sentiment section of the design.
Quick Tip: Try off-setting your sentiment to the right or left side of the sentiment banner. It doesn’t always need to be centered and sometimes just switching the placement can really step up the design.
To create the bouquet, I started off by die cutting a tag from the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics and sponging it with Sno Cone Dye Ink. This tag makes a great place to layer the bouquet onto. The back sprigs of greenery were stamped and simply adhered directly to the tag. As I built up the layers, I started adding the greenery in with foam adhesive squares and then finished it off with 2-step stamping of the flower elements. Two step stamping is simply stamps that have two images. You stamp them both, one over the other, to get two colors of ink on the same image area.
