There is just never enough time to create all the ideas that are swirling around in my head. I’m sure you’re the same way! There’s always a myriad of ways you can use a crafting product…especially paper, inks, stamps and dies. That’s why I’m super excited about this new feature from MFT Stamps called Release Replay. The designers are challenged to have some more creative fun with the newly released MFT Stamps products.
Today I’m taking the Spring Wreath Stamp Set and Spring Wreath Die-namics Set for another spin. This time I’m creating a sweet looped circle, or infinity symbol from two stamped and die-cut wreaths. I think it makes a really fab idea for a wedding or shower card. I’ve always been a fan of the infinity symbol. If you like sappy little personal side-notes, hubby and I used to sign our letters to each other that way. Blush. Young love.
So how to do you make it? It’s simple!
2 wreaths + 1 cut = 1 sweet looped design
That’s right. Just snip one of the wreaths right where you think you might like some floral additions and then loop the cut wreath through the untouched one. I adhered them both of dimensional foam squares…the tiny ones. By adding depth to the design, you really get the feel of the greenery looping through each wreath.
Stamp the coordinating flowers and adhere them to the design to cover the seam and add fullness. The background layers are die-cut from Smooth White Card Stock and Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the largest dies from Blueprints 13 Die-namics and Blueprints 20 Die-namics. To add some additional little touches to the design, the flower centers are filled with gold Stickles and the white “paint” splatters are from a Wink of Stella White Glitter Brush.
