It’s Blueprints time again! Once a month the MFT Stamps DT has a challenge using my favorite die line…the Blueprints Die-namics. I adore these dies as there are so many fabulous ways to use them. In fact, it’s a rare thing when I don’t use at least once Blueprints die on a card design!
Once of the great things about these dies is most of them are full of great strips that are perfect for adding sentiment. They are a great way to highlight your sentiment and that’s what today’s challenge is all about. There will be tons of inspiration using strips, tags and flags to make your sentiment shine.
Today I’m using a great banner strip from the Die-namics Blueprints 20 set. I’ve die-cut it three times to split up the sentiment and make it pop. If once banner is great, well, three is even better right? And I’m using some eye-popping fresh spring colors for the color combo.
I’ve put together this color combo graphic for you. You can save it or Pin it for future reference if you like. I love how fun and bright it is!
And here’s a little breakdown of the Blueprints Die-namics I used on this card. I love keeping it visual. The vellum layer is actually a very large flag and it makes a great base for the sentiment strips. It’s from one of my very favorite Blueprints set, Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I’m also loving the new stitched scalloped layer from Blueprints 27. It’s not a sentiment strip but it makes a stunning base layer!
Here’s a peek at the sweet stamped layer underneath. It’s created, (as is the sentiment), from the So Much Love stamp set. It’s actually a Valentine release but doesn’t it look great for spring too?!
