Day One! It’s the final countdown for the July release at MFT Stamps! Next post you see from me with be the July Launch. Yay!
Say hello to a few amazing stamps and dies! Now you may be thinking, hmmmm…they look a little familiar. And they are! A lot of the product I’ve used here was part of the Flashy Florals Kit that pretty much flew off the shelves. If you missed it, NOW is the time to pick it up. Because yes, it is gorgeous! And I’m absolutely loving stamping with it.
To create the main focal image I’ve stamped and die-cute the Flashy Florals Stamps and Flashy Florals Die-namics. I’ve gone for a softer look this time as the kit had beautiful vibrant colors in it. I love this stamp set bright and I just wanted to share here how beautiful it looks in softer pinks and yellows. Dreamy. I’ve paired up Cotton Candy, Pink Lemonade, Sunshine & Lemon Chiffon Dye Inks on the blossoms. On the leaves, I’ve used Limeade, Sour Apple and Spearmint Dye Inks. I love mixing and matching greens for the greenery. It really gives it a more realistically lovely look.
I’m also loving this new background stamp, the Scattered Surface Background. If you’re looking for a background stamp that adds texture, goes with anything and doesn’t take away from the design then this is the one. I’ve stamped it in Whip Cream Pigment Ink onto Kraft Card Stock for a sweet look. The sentiment is also die-cut from Kraft using the Thanks & Hello Die-namics set. I’m so glad these are finally released because I’ve been having a hard time not using them on everything.
To finish off the design, I’ve added in lots of texture in the form of some paint splatter. You can use basic white paint but I’ve used a Wink of Stella White Glitter Brush and flicked the glitter paint over the surface.
Quick Tip: Arrange clusters of flowers on a circle shape layer. They look fab!
Launch date is just a few hours away, on Tuesday July 5th at 10 pm EST. All supplies are listed below and the new product will all be available at that time. In the meantime…check out more inspiration and fab giveaways! It’s all here on the MFT Stamps Blog! Enjoy!
