Ready. Set. Go!
It’s time for a new sketch challenge at MFT Stamps and it’s the perfect way to get creative today! I’m going cool and crisp today with lots of white. With the heatwave still going strong, it just seemed like the way to go!
This week’s MFT Stamps sketch is #MFTWSC291. There’s fun layers and details on this mostly symmetrical design. I’ve paired it up with some sweet die cuts, stenciling, vellum and a sweet pop of pink. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog.
To break up all the white on this design, I’ve used stenciling on two different layers. I adore the Crosshatch Stencil and it’s sponged on Smooth White Card Stock with Razzle Berry Ink. The Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics Layer makes a great focal point for the card and is sponged with Sno Cone Ink over the English Brick Wall Stencil.
I love including vellum in my creations and the main horizontal band on the sketch is die-cut from vellum using the horizontal die from Blueprints 12. The sentiment banner layer is also from this set and I’ve stamped the lovely sentiment from Grateful for You in Black Hybrid Ink. I adore flowers on my cards and the Rolled Scalloped Rose is always a favorite, as is the Bold Greenery Die-namics. Finally, the circle detail in the sketch is represented by a circle clip from the LLD Hip Clips Die-namics Set and accented with a sweet vintage button.
All supplies for this project are listed below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab! Don’t forget, details and inspiration are here on the MFT Challenge Blog.
