Watercolor and succulents are two hot trends right now. It only makes sense to pair them up for a double whammy of trendiness. Not only that but today is sketch challenge day at MFT Stamps and I’ve combined them with an amazing sketch layout that is sure to inspire.
This week’s MFT Stamps sketch is #MFTWSC293. You’re going to totally love this sketch design as it’s off center and a fun graphic design and classic but unique at the very same time. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog.
The LLD Sweet Succulents Stamp Set and Die-namics is totally fab. It’s full of mix and match cacti and succulents and pots and sentiments that are wonderful to design with. I’ve die-cut them from watercolor paper and then stamped on the images before watercoloring. Once again I’ve pulled out my favorite Peerless Watercolors and added in my color. The images are adhered over the sketch design with foam dimensional squares.
Quick Tip: Adhere your rectangle and square layers over the main panel before die-cutting with a large “stitched” rectangle die. This will apply the stitching accent to all layers!
All supplies for this project are listed below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab! Don’t forget, details and inspiration are here on the MFT Challenge Blog.
