Oh la la…I’m loving some watercolor with die-cuts. And not only a die cut but a fab new frame from Paper Smooches.
It’s from their latest release and called the Feather Frame Die. It’s gorgeous whichever way you turn it or flip it leaving you with lots of ways to use it. I love the sweet feather and have switched out the inner die cut for some subtle vellum. It allows the watercolor beneath to show through.
Quick Tip: Vellum can be tricky to adhere. I’ve adhered it at the top and then covered up the adhesive with some pretty watercolored roses.
Frames are fabulous dies to create with and make a great place to stamp a sentiment and really highlight it. The sentiment used here is from the Simply Said Stamp Set. It’s an oldie but a goodie and it never gets old to me. I’ve also filled the frame with a lovely mix of sparkling clear sequins adhered with Glossy Accents.
The watercolor background is a mix of pink, orange and yellow watercolor on watercolor paper. I love the vibrant mix and it’s one of my favorite color combos.
And just in case you love Paper Smooches products (no brainer right?) I thought I’d let you know that Paper Smooches is having a guest designer search! They are AMAZING to work with and Kim is the bomb. Check out all the details here!
