Snowflake upon snowflake…you KNOW it’s coming!
We’ve had an unseasonably warm fall this year but I do know that winter is just around the corner. I have a love/hate relationship with it but that does not make it go away. Or make it any shorter for that matter. Might as well embrace it!
In case you didn’t know, I’m from Canada and we do get our share of the fluffy white stuff. While I may complain, I really do love it and how fresh and clean if makes everything. It’s peaceful and lovely. Today I’m celebrating the beauty of an all-out snow flurry with this wintery thank you card inspired by the latest sketch challenge from MFT Stamps.
Looking for a great sketch challenge? Be sure to check out this week’s MFT Stamps sketch, #MFTWSC303. Today’s sketch is an easy one to play with and I’ve kept it fairly close to the original. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog. If you’ve never played along, it’s super fun and easy. I hope you’ll join us!
To create this card I’ve layered lots of beautiful snowflakes from the Let it Snowflake Die-namics set, all cut from Sno Cone, Vellum and Smooth White Card Stock. They are layered over the brand new Vertical Snowfall Die-namics which makes a great background. It’s cut from a beautiful navy, After Midnight and the sweet snowflakes that snow through come from the colored Blu Raspberry layer beneath. Each of the large rectangle panels is die-cut from a stitched edge rectangle from one of the Blueprints Die-namics sets.
Quick Tip: I like to make the sentiment pop with a hit of color! Warm things up in this cool design by using Red Hot Card Stock and really make that sentiment stand out.
You can find all the supplies used listed and linked below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab!
Keep it cozy… AND creative!
