Have you ever wanted to create your own sentiment? One that you don’t have a stamp for? Alphabet stamps are a fabulous way to do this and just wait until you see one of the January releases from MFT Stamps!
It’s called Well-Connected Alphabet and I’m just loving how I can create any sentiment I want in a HANDWRITTEN style font! So cool! I love adding French sentiments to things and this stamp set is perfect for that. Each letter has a beautiful style and connection line that ties all the letter together. I seriously want to learn hand-lettering but haven’t yet had the time and this is a wonderful and instant solution!
One thing you might want to take note of is that as each letter connects to the next and there is NO spacing. That’s what makes it so special. But stamps being what they are, you need a base that is larger than the image so each letter should be stamped separately for the best look. It takes a little more time but it is totally worth it! And seriously, have you ever watched any hand-lettering videos on Instagram? Each letter is slowly and carefully formed so really you aren’t spending any more time at all!
Quick Tip: Alphabet stamps and dies are wonderful for creating your own personalized sentiments on cards and paper crafting projects. And if you’d like a sentiment in another language like French? It’s the perfect fix! C’est Magnifique!
I’ve paired up the stamp set with a great background stamp that I shared a glimpse of on Day 5 of the countdown. The Floral Fantasy Background is so pretty and I’m thinking it’s going to be great stamped simply or used for some fun techniques. At the top sentiment area of the design I’ve used the new Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 Die-namics to create a pretty and unique layer. And to finish it all all, how about some lovely rolled roses die-cut from card stock and pink check paper? This design is color popping with a color combo of Red Hot and Razzleberry inks and card stocks, with just a little hit of green for leaves and contrast. I’m in such a pink-a-licious mood lately!
It’s the last countdown day for the MFT’s January release countdown. That means less than 24 hours left until it’s all available for purchase! Hooray!
