Hugs, hugs and more hugs.
You can never have too many hugs right? I’m hoping you won’t think so as I have another card full of big hugs today. It’s sketch challenge day at MFT Stamps and I’ve created this fun card featuring Big Hugs Die-namics. The funny thing is that I created the cards a week apart and totally didn’t think that they would end up back to back on the blog like this. Want to know what happened? I was creating today’s sketch challenge card and came across the scrap card stock that I had die-cut the Big Hugs from for the release. I was inspired to use negative shapes for this card and it’s a great way to make use of every bit of paper.
Looking for a great sketch challenge? Be sure to check out this week’s MFT Stamps sketch, #MFTWSC315. Today’s sketch is an easy one to play with and I’ve kept it fairly close to the original. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog. If you’ve never played along, it’s super fun and easy. I hope you’ll join us!
To create the hugs sentiment I used that scrap of die-cut cardstock and then die-cut it again, this time using a great banner die from Blueprints 13 Die-namics. The Orange Fizz card stock that layers underneath the sentiment to make it pop is also die-cut with the same bracket banner die and then they are adhered together. Add in a little color pop with Razzleberry card stock and some fun fresh print with the Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack and it’s coming together nicely. To finish it off I added a sweet little button and some die-cut leaves, the Layered Leaves Die-namics. I’m hoping that MFT Stamps NEVER retires this leaf die set or I’ll be quite an unhappy camper. I just can’t put it away!
You can find all the supplies used listed and linked below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab!
Until next time…
