Less than one week until Spring! Just the thought of it is enough to have me feeling better!
Today’s card is a sweet mix of flowers and fresh spring colors. Who else is more than ready for spring?!
It’s also about a new sketch challenge! Like sketches? Be sure to check out this week’s MFT Stamps sketch, #MFTWSC324. Today’s sketch is one that I’m really loving. It’s easy to use and is full of possibilities. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog. If you’ve never played along, it’s super fun and easy. I hope you’ll join us!
This design features one of my favorite floral stamp sets ever! Flashy Florals is absolutely gorgeous and one I keep going back to again and again. I love the 2 and step stamping on the leaves and petals and it’s all so big and bold and lovely. For the color combo I’ve gone with some cool blues, greens and purple and livened it up with a great pop of red. Once again (see yesterday’s design) I’m using the LJD Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows. I didn’t plan them to be back to back as I tend to work in batches but today’s card uses the other die in this fab set. Both window dies are super cute and whether you layer over like today, or layer under like yesterday, these dies make a wonderful focal point.
Quick Tip: Using scalloped edges or unique shapes on the border of a layer really adds movement and interest to a design.
You can find all the supplies used listed and linked below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab!
Until next time…
