Ever wanted to create a beautiful watercolor background? They are so easy to do! Trust me!
Watercolor backgrounds are a wonderful way to add color and beauty and that stunning hand-painted look. They are great for setting off stamped sentiments and really look wonderful with white die-cuts. And yes…
watercolor is soooo on trend
One of the keys to creating the background is to ALWAYS use watercolor paper. Trust me on this. You NEED watercolor paper if you’re going to watercolor. White card stock is great for so many different things but it just does not do watercolor paints justice. The point of watercolor is to move the paint easily across the surface and nothing does that as well as watercolor paper. It doesn’t have to be expensive, especially when creating a background. Save the good stuff for an actual painting.
