Get ready to sail away with this latest design. Today I’m pulling out a beautiful die set to accent the latest MFT Stamps sketch challenge. It’s Wednesday and I always love to play along. Sketches are such a great way to get creating. The Sailboat Die-namics die makes a great summer or masculine themed design.
This card has very limited stamping, just the sentiment, and focuses mostly on dies and patterned paper. The mostly primary color combo is bright and fun and reminds me so much of summer. It’s from the Birthday Blowout Paper Pack which goes to show you that you can use patterned paper for themes outside the name of the line.
If you love to create from sketches, be sure to check out this week’s MFT Stamps sketch, #MFTWSC327. Today’s sketch is a wonderful unique sketch with lots of layers and a mostly symmetrical design. There’s a great open space that lends itself to just about anything from stamps to dies etc. I’ve kept it fairly close to the original and had fun mixing up a bunch of textures and prints. I hope you’ll join in the challenge for some creative time! You can find all the details here on the MFT Challenge Blog. If you’ve never played along, it’s super fun and easy. I hope you’ll join us!
You can find all the supplies used listed and linked below for your convenience. I hope you find some time to get sketchy! There’s always a chance to win something fab!
Until next time…
