Is it OK to say that I am just so tickled with how darling this card turned out?!
The new MFT Stamps set, Seaside Seagulls makes me want to head back to the shore as I’m reliving my memories of our recent trip to Florida. I have to tell you though, I really want to rename this set Sassy Seagulls as they are so whimsical and fun!
It’s also Day Three of the countdown which means we are halfway there! Time flies when you are having fun. And did you notice the brand new countdown graphics we have from MFT Stamps? I’m digging them and all the extra information that makes the countdown so much easier to understand.
So…Seaside Seagulls…I’ve used so many of the sweet stamped images and used both the stamp set and the Die-namics set. The sentiments are amazing and I’ve stamped one on the bottom of my tag card design right on the patterned paper. I’m stamping sentiments so much more easily now with my Misti and rarely stamp them without it!
The darling little seagulls are stamped onto the white card stock die-cuts and then colored in with Copic Markers. The MFT Stamps Black Licorice Hybrid Ink Pad is amazing for using with Copics. The clouds in this design are from the Seaside Seagulls Die-namics set and also come with a stamp. I love the look of them even without the stamp so it gives you lots of options to choose from!
The card design is all layered onto a fun tag card design using the Blueprints 9 Die-namics. It’s not a recent release by any means but it’s fairly new to my stash and every card I’ve made with it so far I’ve absolutely loved the look. It’s all put together with lots of different papers from different releases. I’m not sure why but I find that pulling the packs apart really allows me to have so much more fun with the patterned papers.
Quick Tip: Mix and match patterned paper packs for lots more creative options!
