The holiday season has begun in the paper crafting scene and as I love creating Christmas cards, I’m so excited! It’s always fun to see what new and fab products are out there to play with and if you’ve been following along with the October MFT Release Countdown you’ll know there’s lots of fun options to inspire your creativity. I’ve decided to mix and match a lot of new releases in tonights Product Launch card as I couldn’t wait to try them all out.
Let’s start off right front and center with the sweet little bear in a sweater image. So cozy and cute! It’s from the new Polar Pals stamp set. I’m assuming from the name of the set he’s supposed to be a polar bear but I thought he’d look cute as a brown bear too so I’ve colored him in that way with my Copic Markers. He’s framed with a circular sentiment called the Merry Christmas Circle Frame Die-namics and you’ll also notice there’s a pattern in the background that is made up of another sentiment. Falala is stamped in Grout Gray on the largest layer and is from the new Handwritten Holiday stamp set.
Quick Tip: Create your own “patterned paper” background with stamps! I love using script sentiment stamps repeated in a pattern to make a lovely background. And here’s a tip within a tip! If you stamp your pattern on an angle it’s much more forgiving than stamping your pattern on the horizontal!
I’ve once again used the brand new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and created lots of lovely layers with it in shade of card stock that you’ll find listed below. Finally, the Tall Tag Duo Die-namics makes an appearance once again die cut from a red gingham in the Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack.
Inks Used: Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, Grout Gray Dye Ink
