It’s Launch Time! MFT Stamps November Product Launch is now in full swing and it’s full of fab new products! It was hard to decide what set to feature for the launch but as I love meeting friends for coffee, some coordinating stamps and dies really just had to be inked up!
I’m totally crushing this funky new coffee set duo called Coffee Date and Coffee Date Die-namics. It has a fun whimsical style that highlights in partial areas of the design in color giving it a wonderfully unique look. I’ve layered the coffee pot and cups together in the center of the design on top of layers of patterned paper and card stock die cut with the new Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I’m loving this set as an alternative to the traditional retangles…there’s so much fun style to them and they layer perfectly onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ size card.
Quick Tip: When working with STAX layers, skip a die increment now and then to prevent the layers from being too repetitive. For instance in this design I’ve used the largest die, the second largest die and then skipped one before die-cutting my inner layer.
The sentiment on this card comes from a new stamp set called Coffee Break. It’s full of awesome sayings and some punny ones as well and some of them even work for other hot beverages as well such as tea and hot chocolate. Every one needs a little coffee break some times!

A Little Break for Me
Now while we are talking about coffee and breaks, it’s also time to talk about me needing to take a creative break. This has been a very difficult decision for me and while I still love paper crafting and will still be here crafting now and then when the mood hits, over the next few months I really need to take some time for myself and my family. This means I’ll be stepping away from the MFT Stamps Design Team and wow, this is really hard to write as MFT Stamps has been such a joy to design for. Taking this break is something I’ve known I needed to do for quite awhile and have kept putting off because I love designing for MFT Stamps and my other teams as well. In this industry it’s always hard to step away for a bit as you never quite know whether you’ll get the some opporunities again. It’s a bit of a gamble but one that I’m finally ok with taking. It’s important to look after yourself and my body is telling me it’s time for that.
It’s been an absolutely honour to be part of the MFT Stamps team and I want to thank you, the MFT Stamps fans for being so faithful to stop by and comment on my posts and designs. Opportunities like this one don’t come around every day. So a huge thanks to MFT Stamps for allowing me to be part of a fab team designing with amazing products and thanks to you the readers as well. Your support is amazing and means so much. I’m hoping that after I take the time I need that I’ll be back creating with these inspiring products and enjoying the MFT Stamps community. I am definitely going to miss it in a huge way.
